I wanted to know what the consensus would be to use the "Kilt lifter" trollkin model in lieu of the traditional Borka model.  I can only assume that most people wouldnt care in a friendly match, however if/when the time comes that I want to try going to tournies do you think that the judges would disallow the model?  If they did (because he is using a sword instead of a big mace, if I converted the sword to a mace would it then be ok (in your opinion)?

The current Privateer Press Conversion rule is that over 50% of the model has to be made of the original model.  In friendly games, you are cool, but in a tournament, you would probably not be able to use it.  It would ultimately be up to the Tournament Organizer.

Russ has it in the right.

In tournaments I run, I wouldn't have an issue with it (though it would be better if you converted him to have a mace).  However, if someone raises a fuss, I would have the actual model on hand just in case.  I talked to Wes about this for some Gun Mages (he wanted to use some Gun Mages from the IK line; I told him I'd have my unit on hand in case someone was irritated by it).  While I don't have Borka at the moment, I do plan on getting him in the nearish future, so that shouldn't be an issue.

You would need a keg carrier model too though.

Unless you really want the model; you should be fine doing the conversion with the beer Troll.  I should be snagging Borka shortly so you could use mine if someone grumbles (and I doubt anyone would)
